September Update
Its mid-September and the nights are drawing in……. the night time temperatures are falling.
Winter is coming but we are still in full flow on the farm
Hopefully it is going to be a record year for bunched beetroot production, and we anticipate harvesting until late November/early December.

Bunched and baby carrots are still performing strongly
Runner and dwarf bean quality is excellent
Peas have sold well for 2019 but are virtually finished
We still have about 4 weeks of beautiful tender sweetcorn available to finish off an excellent season
Hispi cabbage is being cut fresh every day

As the photo of the asparagus fern shows the season is sadly over. A wet start followed by ideal temperatures resulted in a bumper harvest for 2019. However, the acreage to be harvested for 2020 has been increased so that the demand can be catered for. If you would like to be considered for supply next year, please contact us.
